Please don't mind my very crappy video editing! I did it pretty fast and just wanted to get a quick vid of the space :P Maybe I'll revisit in the future! Please hit the gear to put it in 1080p!

InHyukLee's fantastic rendition of Sasuke. His version was so inspiring & I wanted to see what it would look like just dropped into the 3d scene. I don't believe it's too far off! https://www.artstation.com/artwork/3o668E

The first piece in my Fan art based series - Naruto:Redux! I've been pretty excited to work on it as it's been something that i've wanted to work on for quite some time. Naruto has played a huge part in my life (as I grew up with it for over 20 years). I've always wanted to see it reimagined as a more realistic/dark/scifi themed world, as if it were a narrative game! The current Naruto games are all fighting games, and extremely stylized, so I hope to continue to make progress on this!

[STORY PROMPT]: The long forgotten Uchiha Basement Hideout, used by Founding members of the Uchiha Clan to plot and plan when necessary to defend Konoha during a time of civil war. After the wiping out of the Uchiha clan by Uchiha Itachi (Sasuke's brother), Sasuke returns to the original Uchiha hideout basement in hopes to restore his clan and uncover any secrets or clues as to their demise. The basement holds a stone tablet that is only readable by those who posses the visual powers of the Uchiha - the Sharingan. This stone tablet uncovers the secrets of the clan left by the Sage of Six Paths.

The hopes for this piece was to give the feeling of an underground basement hideout, and after being restored by Sasuke to use as a hideout, to hear the hums of the underground generators, yet house the coldness that the Uchiha have been become known to possess. This is the Uchiha Hideout that begins Sasuke's quest for truth, and also revenge.

The mural painting is a more realistic version of Susanno and Amaterasu taken from the free collection from the Library of Congress: https://www.loc.gov/collections/japanese-fine-prints-pre-1915/?fa=subject:ukiyo-e

Also, InHyuk Lee's imaginings of his Naruto characters have been a great inspiration to me (as I had started work on this project prior to his current works, its been a great inspiration!) - I felt compelled to just take his image and place it within the scene to see how well it works. I don't think it's too far off! I may have to get started on a 3D character version of his work. Anyway, his work is amazing and I'd highly recommend checking him out! https://www.artstation.com/artwork/3o668E

Thanks for checking out the project! I hope to continue with these as they're relatively small scenes that I can do through weekends without it getting too much in the way of work. Cheers!
